Our goal is to provide fun eye exams while being as eco-friendly as possible, starting with our spectacle frames.
‘Oporthix’ Name Origin: A combination of the words OPtometry & ORTHoptICS, initially combined for use in an email address. The ‘x’ looked better than ‘cs’ in the logo 🙂
Logo Explanation: The half spectacle frame represents ‘Optometry’ & the cover represents ‘Orthoptics’

Why ocean-themed?
Why not? Just kidding! 😀
In the past when our Optometrist-Orthoptist asked kids if they preferred safari or fishy stickers, they almost always said, “Fishys”.
Oporthix Eyecare was initially intended to be a paediatric-only practice but then someone asked, “How can you leave out the parents?” So we kept the theme but expanded our age group 🙂
